A
Mathematics educators will strive to increase standardized test scores on all assessments and improve achievement for all Parkway students.
B
The Mathematics K-12 Curriculum Committee, along with administrative and district support, will research, design and implement a Mathematics Intervention Program (or Math Recovery Program, analogous to the Reading Recovery program in Parkway) in grades 3-8.
C
The Mathematics K-12 Curriculum Committee, along with administrative and district support, will research, design and implement a supplemental Math Procedures (or Basic Facts) program in grades K-5 to support existing standards-based curriculum.
D
The Mathematics K-12 Curriculum Committee, along with administrative and district support, will continue to analyze data regarding the gender gap in mathematics.
E
The Mathematics K-12 Curriculum Committee, along with administrative and district support, will research theory, strategy and pedagogy in closing the African American Achievement Gap in mathematics.
F
Two levels of Advanced Placement (AP) Calculus will be implemented at all four traditional high schools providing more opportunity for students of varying abilities to learn upper level mathematics.
G
With administrative and district support, all secondary classrooms will meet the desired Technology Equipment Standards as presented in this evaluation.
H
The Mathematics K-12 Curriculum Committee, along with administrative and district support, will work to meet technology standards at all grade levels.
